I2M Consulting, LLC,  a subsidiary of the I2M Corporation, is a professional practice offering experienced geologists, hydrogeologists, and other geoscientists, licensed in Texas and other states, and associated project managers with many years in environmental assessments, including remediation management, mineral exploration and mining, project management, mergers and acquisitions. Related areas of expertise include forensic and feasibility studies in the environmental and mining industries, and environmental site assessments, due diligence assessments, and impact assessments in addition to brownfield redevelopment and management in the U.S., for State and Federal governments, and the legal community.

I2M professionals also manage and edit the I2M Web Portal, which as of mid-October, 2024 reached 14,000 records. I2M offers an experienced group of professional associates, many of whom have worked together in prior assignments over the past 20 years to consult on or manage and execute environmental programs in the United States and around the world (see I2M projects and Environmental Geology, Brownfields, and other services offered by I2M Consulting).

The development of broad-scale environmental programs aimed at industry started in earnest in the early 1970s with new regulations promulgated by federal agencies and later echoed by state programs. With time, increasing pressure was brought to bear on industry to change their paradigms in how they handle their operations and their wastes.

This well-known group of professional associates is identified as the Natural Resources Group (NRG) of I2M Consulting, all of whom have worked together at some stage from the late 1960s in consulting or in managing and executing mineral exploration programs in the U.S. and overseas to the early 1990s within national consulting companies and the DuPont Environmental Group (DERS). The NRG also provides a range of evaluations involving mining economics, reserve evaluations, market analyses, and associated environmental investigations (see I2M projects, I2M Mining and other evaluations).
