Environmental Geophysics Associates (EGA) awarded TxDOT project

Environmental Geophysics Associates (EGA)

Mustafa Saribudak, Ph.D., P.G., Chief Geophysicist of Environmental Geophysics Associates (EGA) and an I2M Senior Geophysical Associate, announced that EGA has partnered with a company that has been awarded a 2-year project by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

EGA will conduct the geophysical services over the Edwards Aquifer in central Texas to locate caves, voids, and sinkholes, and to characterize near-surface geology.

Dr. Saribudak also recently completed geophysical surveys on a karstic terrain near the Natural Bridge Caverns to locate a water well. The location, suggested by the geophysical surveys, was drilled and yielded a flowing artesian well.
