Eureka County, Nevada – Open-Pit Mining and Gold-Silver with Cyanide Heap Leach Recovery System
I2M personnel acquired property on behalf of a consortium of Norwegian-Italian-Swiss investor groups and served as mine management consultants to the mine owners, conducting extensive drilling and coring, designing the mine plan, 9-mile haul road from mine to pads designed with a leaky-pipe cyanide leach system in series with an electrolytic recovery and smelting system to recover precious metal doré.
I2M’s Founder, Mr. Jeffrey D. King, P.G., served as Mine Manager for the day-to-day operations, and the support team consisting of Dr. Foss and Mr. Campbell at CF&B provided services for the oversight management of operations and exploration. The team made additional discoveries that were subsequently mined by others. Other functions involved the transport and delivery of high-quality doré to the refinery in Salt Lake City and other management functions. Dr. Foss passed away in 2003 (more). I2M personnel managed the day-to-day mining, heap-leaching operations, providing oversight of doré production and transported doré to the refinery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
As a result, the current I2M team has considerable experience in the planning, the security and managing of precious and base-metal exploration and mining projects in the U.S. and overseas, and currently monitors activities of a number of commodities for clients (more). This includes experience both in terms of evaluating prospects, bringing mines into production, and processing relevant environmental permitting requirements in such projects as gold and silver production via heap-leaching of gold ore to producing gold doré while monitoring associated security issues and mine management.
We also conducted the environmental monitoring of groundwater in processing area, and prepared and implemented the comprehensive safety program. We also provided liaison with state and federal regulatory agencies.
