Michael D. Campbell, P.G., P.H., C.P.G., President and CEO of the I2M Corporation (Texas), announced today that the I2M Board of Directors has approved the engagement of Paul Goranson, P.E., as a Technical Advisor. Mr. Campbell said… “that he was pleased that Paul has agreed to join the I2M team in an advisory role in providing guidance to I2M’s developing ISR projects in Texas.”

Mr. Goranson is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and he holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and Texas A&I University, respectively.

He will report to Mr. Campbell and the I2M Board of Directors on matters related to in-situ uranium projects and associated environmental matters during the leasing, exploration, permitting, and start-up production phases of the various I2M projects currently underway in Texas. Mr. Campbell has known Mr. Goranson for decades and worked with him in the past in providing the first independent technical assessment in 2008 of Mesteña’s Alta Mesa ISR project that Goranson spearheaded in South Texas. In the early 2000s, Mr. Goranson was Vice President of Mesteña Uranium LLC, where he led the construction, startup and operation of the Alta Mesa project which achieved over one million pounds of uranium production per year. His responsibilities included marketing uranium, negotiating long-term uranium supply contracts and spot uranium sales with nuclear utilities.

Mr. Goranson has almost 40 years of uranium recovery and processing, marketing, and regulatory experience in the uranium industry that includes both conventional mining of shallow uranium deposits and in-situ recovery (ISR) operations of deep deposits. Most recently, Mr. Goranson was the Chief Executive Officer and Director of enCore Energy Corp. where he expanded the Alta Mesa project and brought the Rosita ISR project into operation. He is an experienced executive with an impressive history in building, renovating and operating a number of ISR facilities in the United States.

Prior to enCore Energy Corp., Mr. Goranson was the Chief Operating Officer for Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc. (parent company Energy Fuels Inc.) where he was responsible for the operations of the company’s conventional and in-situ recovery uranium projects. Mr. Goranson served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director for Uranerz Energy Corporation, where he was responsible for commissioning, operating and expanding the Nichols Ranch ISR Uranium Project. Mr. Goranson also served as President of Cameco Resources, the company that operated Cameco, Inc.’s U.S. ISR operations.

In addition to his experience with conventional and ISR uranium production, Mr. Goranson has extensive experience in uranium markets, Federal and State regulatory affairs and government policy. Mr. Goranson has served as the President of the Uranium Producers of America, and as the President of the Wyoming Mining Association. He has served in leadership positions within the National Mining Association, Texas Mining and Reclamation Association, and the Nuclear Energy Institute. He currently serves on the Board of Brush Country Groundwater Conservation District located in South Texas.

From an industry standpoint, with his knowledge of ISR technology, combined with his experience in bringing together all aspects of an ISR project, few professionals can match his breath of experience in the industry today. For more information on Mr. Goranson, see (here).
