Campbell Elected Fellow of Geological Society of London

I2M’s President, Jeffrey D. King, P.G., announced today that he received a communication from President Shilston of the Geological Society of London dated November 27, 2013, that I2M’s Michael D. Campbell, P.G., P.H., Chief Geologist/Hydrogeologist, was elected a Fellow of the Society and subsequently named a Chartered Geologist during the General Meeting of the Geological Society of London (more).

Mr. Campbell replied to President Shilston that he was pleased to learn of the elections and intends to become active in the GSL’s Mineral Deposits Study Group, the Hydrogeological Group, and the Forensic Geoscience Group.

Morocco & I2M Associates

Mr. Mohammed Njari, an I2M Assistant Geological Associate, just returned from an extended visit to the Kingdom of Morocco.

He not only visited with family, but also met with personnel of The Department of Research and Development to advise them of the capabilities and experience of I2M Consulting, LLC in exploration programs, mining development programs, and associated environmental programs involved in industrial minerals (e.g., phosphate, potash, etc.), energy minerals (e.g., uranium, thorium and rare earths), and precious and base metal projects (e.g., gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, and other commodities).

“The Antelope Farm” published by Senior Geological Associate

The Antelope FarmPublishing under the pen name of Vincenzo Spiaggi, one of I2M’s Senior Geological Associates, Bruce Rubin, has just announced the release of his new book, The Antelope Farm.

This is his 10th novel, many of which have geological themes (here).

He is a geologist, management consultant, novelist, journalist, fine arts photographer, and screenwriter.

He has lived and worked professionally throughout the United States, in Canada and the Middle East.

King, P.G., President and CEO of I2M Associates, LLC in Seattle announced today that I2M’s Associate Geophysicist, Dr. Mustafa Saribudak, P.G. has just published a paper in the Bulletin of the South Texas Geological Society this month on how resistivity and natural potential (NP) methods together help to characterize subsurface geology (more).

Dr. Saribudak was also just appointed as Treasurer of the Austin Geological Society.
