Michael D. Campbell, I2M's Chief Geologist advised members of the Energy Minerals Division of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) that after 17 years as the Chairman of the Uranium (Nuclear & Rare Earth) Committee (UCOM), it is time to step down effective July 1, 2021.
Michael D. Campbell, P.G., P.H., I2M's Chief Geologist, and Chairman of the AAPG's Energy Minerals Division's Uranium (Nuclear & Rare Earth) Committee presented the summary annual report during the EMD Zoom Conference on June 10, 2021 (here).

Campbell, P.G., P.H., Founding Member of EMD (1977), Past President of EMD (2010-2011), and current Chair of the Uranium (Nuclear and REE) Committee since 2004, was asked to assemble a historical account of the Energy Minerals Division (EMD), from its beginning before 1977 to 2018.
The Energy Minerals Division's 2017 review article was recently released in the Journal of Natural Resources Research (Springer) on the activities in the unconventional and alternative energy fields (EMD's Chief Editor: Frances J. Hein).
