Michael D. Campbell, P.G., P.H., C.P.G., President and CEO of the I2M Corporation (Texas), announced today that the I2M Board of Directors has approved the engagement of Charles C. Wielchowsky, Ph.D., as a Technical Advisor. He will report to Mr. Campbell and the I2M Board of Directors on matters related to subsurface geology and associated structual relationships, and on any associated environmental matters during the permitting process on various I2M projects.

Dr. Wielchowsky was engaged by the Geological Survey of Alabama as Geoscientist during 1972-1974 working on satellite imagery studies/remote sensing, structural analysis, and associated groundwater resource investigations. While completing graduate school at Rice University, he served during the summers as a Consulting Geologist from 1975 to 1978 in fieldwork for a rare-earth and uranium project on the Seward Penisula in Alaska (more) and in Nevada investigating geothermal resources in Dixie Valley, Nevada.

Dr. Wielchowsky was granted the Ph.D. from Rice Unversity in 1983. He was enaged for 37 years by Exxon Production Research and then ExxonMobil from 1978 to 2015, first as Staff Geoscientist, then as a Supervisor and then as Manager – International and Domestic Exploration, Development and Production Research – Oil and Gas Exploration, Development and Production in the U.S., Thailand, South America, Mexico, Trinidad, Canada, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Europe, Chad, and Iraq

Dr. Wielchowsky has published with Mr. Campbell on topics relating to rare earths and uranium in Alaska (here), and for the early geothermal investigations focusing on the geological structural setting within Dixie Valley (more).

Mr. Campbell remarked after conferring with the I2M Board: “With the addition of Dr. Wielchowsky, we are hoping to unravel the complex structural relations of the faulting in many areas of our current interest. I am especially pleased that Dr. Wielchowsky has agreed to join the I2M Team. He will add his many years of experience in dealing with complex faulting in oil & gas exploration throughout the world to assist our projects in Texas.”
